Whether she’s cheering on her favorite soccer team in Mexico, donating her hair for cancer patients or rescuing dogs off the street, Verónica González Vázquez values helping others. Her drive to cultivate strong community connections extends to her role as Exhaust Engineer Manager at Navistar’s Technical Center in Mexico, where she leads a team of five in designing and validating truck exhaust systems. “Helping new engineers and others succeed excites me the most. It’s a big responsibility that makes me really proud.”

She takes pride in being a reliable resource, making time to listen, considering everyone’s ideas and guiding them to helpful resources when they need a nudge.
