Internships

When it comes to internships, we believe that what you put into it is what you’ll get out of it. We invest significant energy and resources to ensure our interns are given every possible opportunity to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom – we offer equal amounts of challenge, responsibility and oversight.

Engineering

Navistar offers exceptional engineering internships across a broad spectrum of engineering specialties from electrical, mechanical and computer to foundry, acoustic and aerodynamic. While the responsibilities of each internship differ according to specialty area, all participants can expect purposeful work and significant degrees of responsibility. Participants will see the theory of the classroom practically applied under the intentional direction of senior-level engineers.

Additionally, participants gain valuable exposure to functions and requirements of our global supply chain from parts purchasing to product manufacturing, including the design of material and network flow.

He or she will evaluate your progress, give you feedback, and help you gain visibility at huddle boards, team meetings, and executive reviews.
